Deccan International School was founded in the year 2003. The school is headed by Mr. K.N Tilak Kumar, grandson of late Sri K N Guruswamy, philanthropist, educationist and founder of the Deccan Herald and Prajavani Group. Strategically located in South Bangalore and spread over 10 acres of lush green land, this school has a visually pleasing picturesque landscape. Deccan International School is a co-educational school run by K.N Guruswamy Educational and Charitable Trust. The school follows the ICSE syllabus. The primary aim of the school is to provide holistic development to every child studying here. The objective is to give school education a dynamic perspective by linking academics with art and value education.
